Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award

The ECE Faculty Honors Committee solicits nominations of faculty members as candidates for recognition in six categories. Faculty colleagues only may submit nominations for these awards via the online form. The correspondence in the package should be addressed to the ECE Faculty Honors Committee. The Committee requests one pdf file containing the entire contents of the nomination package: a nominating letter, candidate résumé, and three letters of recommendation submitted via the online form. Only complete nomination packages will be accepted. Questions can be directed to Maryam Saeedifard.

This award is presented to a full professor or Regents’ Professor who has made significant contributions throughout his/her career, with particular emphasis on recent educational, research, and professional service activity. Most measures of faculty productivity should be considered for over the past 10 years, while the number of publications, number of citations, number of Ph.D. students graduated, and awards and honors received should be over the duration of the faculty member’s entire career. This award consists of a $5,000 check and a plaque.
