The ECE Staff Awards Committee solicits nominations of classified staff, research faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and general faculty in three categories. Submissions can be completed by faculty and staff members only via the online form. Letters of support are encouraged for all awards and can be uploaded via the online form. The Hats Off Performance Award recognizes classified staff members who have demonstrated exceptional job performance and/or service to ECE above and beyond the call of duty. This award recognizes the excellent performance by staff members in support of ECE’s strategic educational and research goals. These activities enhance the quality of ECE’s programs through achievements such as new external sponsorship of the School; increased productivity of staff, faculty, and/or students; reduced costs; and lower service times for faculty, staff, students, and/or other stakeholders, which are achievements beyond normal expectations for classified staff. This award consists of a $2,000 check and a plaque.
